On October 30, 2026, the verified X handle “Red Vanguard” (@RedDeFacto), which has repeatedly spread fabricated content, posted a clip of a police officer restraining a man on a roadside under the heading “22 Punches, One Poop”. Fact-checkers have labelled it propaganda. The incident did take place, on October 28, 2026, on Auburn Way North in Auburn, Washington. According to the Auburn Police Department’s official press release, officers responded to reports of a man running in and out of traffic and trying to enter passing vehicles. An officer used a Taser, a physical struggle followed, and four officers were needed to restrain him. Both the man and the officer were taken to hospital, the officer has been placed on administrative leave, and the incident is under review. The police statement does not give the man’s name, nationality or ethnicity, and does not include the details in the post.
